| Setting Up a Dial-Up Script for Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking |
| | If you already have a Dial-Up Networking connection setup to dial Accutek, but you have to manually enter your Username and Password in the Post-Dial Terminal Window every time, you can download and install a script and a scripting utility to automate the process of typing your username and password. Just follow these steps to make life easier. If you followed the directions above to add a Dial-Up Networking connection, or if you have installed Accutek's software, you do not need to follow these directions since the scripting is already set up. |
| | A. | Determine the Version of Windows You Are Running |
| | | 1. | Click on Start..Setting..Control Panel. |
| | | 2. | Double click on System. |
| | | 3. | On the General tab under System, it should report a version. If this version says 4.00.950 B, than you are running OEM-SR2. If you do not see the "B" at the end, then you are NOT running Windows 95 OEM-SR2. |
| | | 4. | If you are running OEM-SR2, proceed to section B. If you are not running OEM-SR2, go to section C. |
